Pastoral Council The purpose of the Pastoral Council is to encourage, promote and coordinate the activities of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in the local community. It exists to promote the spiritual growth of our Parish community and to lead the parish in fulfilling the mission of the Church. The council advises the Pastor and seeks to enhance communication within the parish.
The Pastoral Council is composed of 14 voting members. Six members shall be elected by the parish at-large. These members shall serve for a term of three years with a limit of two terms. The remaining nine members are chairpersons of the various committees of Saints Peter and Paul. The Pastoral Council meets August through May on the second Tuesday of the month. We welcome parishioners to contact committee chairpersons for more information or to volunteer to help. Finance Committee The Finance Committee serves as an advisory council to the pastor on the fiscal management of the parish. The committee takes responsibility for developing ongoing financial plans and budgets to respond to the needs of the parish. Part of the committee’s responsibility is to plan and recommend major improvements and maintenance work for the parish. Meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm.
